Durable Composite Mats for Rig Drilling Site in Alaska
| PROJECT: Provide Drill Rig Mats for Service Rig Drilling Operations in Alaska, USA. CHALLENGE: The current conventional drill rig mats in place were yielded and deformed. We needed to design and provide FRP rig mats that were ideal for deflection and that could accommodate field abuse, weather, extreme loads and high cycles of use. SERVICES: In addition to finding and designing a great solution for our client, we also manufactured and transported the final composite mats to the location for installation. SOLUTION: Our team found an ideal solution in our high-capacity Tuuvaq Full Composite Rig Mats. Measuring in at 8’ x 30’ for this project these Fibreglass Resin Polymer rig mats are a CMS solution that are higher in bearing capacities and lighter in weight than our conventional rig mats in the product spectrum. These mats have been engineered with the soil conditions in mind and fitted to the environment for optimal use and safety. |
